Here we go! This week kicks off the PGA season’s final three events where we will only be seeing the best of the best. 125 golfers will be traveling this week to play the FedEx St. Jude Championship at TPC Southwind, so let’s dive into it.

There are only two players on the Tour qualified for this week who have previously won at Sawgrass, Daniel Berger and Justin Thomas, but Berger is out with an injury leaving some value for a Thomas victory at +1400. The current favorite to win pre-tournament is Rory McIlroy (+900) who has been on a tear recently with 5 top five finishes in his last 8, and 2 finishes inside the top 12 at the venue at previous tournaments. A top 10 finish for McIlroy at even odds is a bet I consider absolutely worth a sprinkle.

Another golfer that I believe odds have some value is current world ranked #1 Scottie Scheffler. After a lackluster showing at The Open, Scheffler has had some time off and is well rested coming into this tournament. A top five finish seems a reasonable expectation and at +300 an attractive line.

If you want a longshot, Matt Kuchar to win the first round is +10000. He currently is the second lowest scorer after round one, only behind Rory. By no means a lock, but could be a fun bet.

Lastly, I think Jon Rahm at +2000 could be a nice bet, as the Spaniard has top ten finishes in 8 out of 9 of his last postseason appearances. Remember to always bet responsibly and take advantage of this incredible Bet $1 & Get $200 offer from Bet365!
