The Padres limped to the All-Star break. They are a top-heavy baseball team, and Eric Hosmer’s contract continues to age worse than Val Kilmer. The Padres will be starting a combination of Darvish, Snell, and Musgrove in this series. I think the Mets grab two out of three, and I only say this because betting against Joe Musgrove is a dumber idea than sticking a fork in an electrical socket. Take the Mets.
