My Takes:

Regular season football is like my friend Matt’s sister: I hate to see it go, but boy, oh boy, do I love watching it leave. Let’s get into the slate.

Would the Steelers lose this game to the Chiefs nine times out of ten? Yes. Yet, I have an inexplicable feeling that Mike Tomlin runs his team out of the tunnel after delivering one of the best pre-speeches of all time. After being among the league’s worst rush defenses this season, they piece it all together when it matters. I’m taking Steelers against the spread.

Vegas likes the Rams by 4.5. I couldn’t disagree more. Sure, the last six games have looked lackadaisical; however, I keenly remember when these two teams matched up in early October and the Cardinals stomped the Rams harder than Antonio Brown returning a punt with a kicker in his way. Kliff Kingsbury will be sure his guys are ready and when things click, this is arguably the best team in the NFL and destined to make a deep run in the playoffs.

There are three rules in life:

  • Never covet another man’s wife
  • Never steal unless you have to
  • Always bet the Philadelphia Eagles when they come in as underdogs

This team represents an entire city of underdogs. Guys that work their ass off every day just to get by, immigrants that come to our great country for a better life, and people that have been written off since the day their doctor cut the umbilical cord. I could give you the stats, I can tell you that this game will be won in the trenches, but this game will truly come down to heart, and the Eagles have a damn good one. Vegas likes the Bucs by 8.5, but that means nothing.

As impressive as Mac Jones has been this rookie season, winning on the road in a wild card game is a tall task, especially when you’re playing in ten-degree weather. Josh Allen has been here before, and he’ll do anything it takes to win in front of thousands of drunk Buffalonians (I’m 99% positive I just made that up). While I never doubt Belichick’s ability to gameplan, I have faith that Allen, behind a finally healthy Bills’ offensive line, will lead Buffalo to a deep playoff run.

Regardless of what happens don’t forget to bet $10 and win $200 when a TD is scored!
