I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: at some point soon, the Bulls have to be one of the NBA’s best teams. I understand that this team has as much experience as a Catholic schoolboy when he takes his first girl home, but this roster is talented, and these games keep ending close. The Bulls are now 1-13 against the NBA’s top seven teams, but there’s some brightness in that stat. In all of those games, the Bulls were missing at least one of the following players: Derrick Jones Jr., The Caroshow, Lonzo Ball, or Pat Williams (who is expected to return this month). Not to mention, the Bulls are only losing these games by five or six points, so it’s not like they’re frauds; if anything, their young players are getting meaningful experience. The Sixers are a great team, undoubtedly. The games are a tough watch because Harden and Embiid stay close to the foul-line like I would the pool-jet when I was a kid; however, they are a contender for the East. I like the Bulls to win this game…because eventually, they HAVE to. They were beating the Bucks with six minutes left in the fourth quarter, a pattern we’ve seen when they play great competition all season. I think the streak ends against Philly.
