A banged up Eagles squad looking to clinch the one seed hosts a rebuilding Saints team on New Year’s Day; as the season winds down and the games get more important, the sweet offers from BetMGM keep rolling in. Here’s what you need to know to (responsibly) make the most out of this one.

Despite having been the last team in the NFL to lose a game this season, the Eagles still need one more win to seal up the number one seed and make sure that throughout the playoffs, they have the home field advantage at the Linc. The offense has been great, averaging almost 30 points a game on over 410 yards. On the other side of the ball, the defense has been solid but not out of this world. Jalen probably won’t be playing, which absolutely Hurts the Eagles, but Gardner Minshew has shown his worth as a backup in the last couple of games. Miles Sanders and AJ Brown are also questionable, and these injuries take this game from Eagles win, no question, to a much closer battle. Still, even with injuries this season, the Eagles have found ways to win.

Now the Saints are reeling from the losses of head coach Sean Payton and Hall of Fame Quarterback Drew Brees. Despite a hard rebuild, they’re on a bit of a hot streak, winning their last two and looking to make it three against Philly. Stud wideout Chris Olave looks doubtful to play as well as some other offensive pieces that make a struggling offense look even worse. Still, they have Alvin Kamara, who can pull touchdowns from anywhere when he wants, and Taysom Hill, who might be my favorite player to watch. The Saints have a solid defense, letting up less than 340 yards a game, and are especially lethal against the pass, only allowing around 200 yards a game. With all of the injuries in this one, I’m predicting a close game.

Despite injury concerns, I think Philly wins this one, so take the Eagles moneyline and get your free $200 when a TD is scored with BetMGM!
