Uh oh…the wheels are starting to fall off for Texas Tech. I haven’t seen a Raiders team spiraling this hard since, well…football season, actually. With losses to TCU and Oklahoma State, a Texas Tech team that everybody fawned over now looks like the girls you’ve been dancing with at the bar when the lights finally turn on. As for Iowa State, they are a Bipolar basketball team. When the Cyclones get Tyrese Hunter, Izaiah Brockington, and Gabe Kalscheur going, they are among the best in the Big-12. The Cyclones are feast or famine. Because they aren’t a very deep team, they can put up thirty-six points one night and eighty-two the next day. That being said, Iowa State has a STRONG defense, which makes them one of my favorite teams to watch. The keys are in Izaiah Brockington’s hands, and I think he can get the job done. When the Cyclones beat Texas Tech, he dropped fourteen points and shut down Terrence Shannon to four points. I believe Brockington and Hunter will ball out, so I’m taking the Cyclones.
