Leonard is the best quarterback Duke has had since Daniel Jones, and he’s also capable with his legs as he’s amassed 147 rushing yards on the season so far. The Blue Devils’ over/under was set at three and a half wins, so you could say their surprising surge is smashing expectations like feminists claim Hillary Clinton smashed the glass ceiling.
Duke may be playing some good football, but Kansas is on another level. Last weekend, the Jayhawks mauled Houston so severely that I fully expect the footage to make it on Rogan’s podcast at some point. The win also proved that Kansas is not an illusion…they are very real. It should be no surprise that Jelon Daniels, who has looked like the offspring of Mike Vick and Serena Williams, comes into this contest with the number one QBR rating in the country. Daniels led all rushers last Saturday with 123 yards on twelve carries and two touchdowns. He also completed fourteen of twenty-three pass attempts for 158 yards and three touchdown passes. What’s most impressive is that Daniels shared the love with his receivers, connecting with eleven different guys- almost more than my ex-girlfriend within a week of our breakup. Kansas had 280 yards on the ground, so the Heisman hopeful isn’t the only guy pushing this offense. This team is fighting like they’re in the plot of We Are Marshall, except *knock on wood* there’s no plane crash. Vegas likes Kansas -7.5, and I think they win by more than that.
