Game Analysis:
The Avalanche have had a great season, and are favorites to win the cup. However, they have struggled a little as of late, dropping their last two games to the Coyotes and Flames. The NHL season is long, and even great teams drop a game here and there. If you are an Avs fan no need to worry, because they will bounce back. The Islanders on the other hand have not had the season they were expecting. Last year they were one win away from making it to the cup finals, and had all the promise in the world. Unless something crazy happens, they will not be making the playoffs this year. That being said, crazier things have happened. The Islanders did just come off an impressive win at home against the Blues, and are looking to build off of that. My prediction for the game is the Avs puck line (-1.5). The Avs are too good to drop three games in a row, and I think they come out hot and dominate. The two teams have just recently played, and the Avs took care of business at home. I expect this game to be no different. But no matter the score, we are all winners. So let’s relax, watch some hockey, and make some money.
