Game Analysis:
The Colorado Avalanche continue to take care of business and are extremely dangerous. They have been on an absolute heater, and I don’t think anyone can stop them. Nathan MacKinnon is unreal, but guys like Kadri and Rantanen are the reason why they are so good. Love them or hate them, the Avs are just a fun team to watch, and will most likely make a deep run into the playoffs. On the other hand, the Red Wings continue to improve. They were one of the worst teams in hockey in 2020, but every year they continue to get better. Do not get me wrong, they are nowhere near being a legit contender, but there is some promise. Personally, I think the Red Wings deserve some bad years. I am a St. Louis Blues fan, and I had to suffer for years, while the Red Wings beat up on us. So yes, seeing them struggle a bit makes me happy. My pick for the game is Colorado Avalanche -1.5. I don’t think the Red Wings will be able to keep up with the Avs, but then again the best part about the offer is that everyone wins.
