NFL week six brings us Joe Burrow and the Bengals against the Saints. With Jameis Winston out again this week for New Orleans, Andy Dalton will take the helm after a win against the Seahawks last week. Both teams are 2-3 through five weeks of the 2022 season, and neither has lived up to the expectations of their fan bases – particularly the Bengals. They’ve beaten the Jets and an incredibly banged up Dolphins team and haven’t shown much fire in any of their wins. The Saints, on the other hand, have been fighting hard through injury and allowed Taysom Hill to put up some of the weirdest stats I’ve ever seen in an NFL game.

Andy Dalton playing against his old squad for a home New Orleans crowd is dangerous. He’s beaten them with both the Cowboys and the Bears, and he’s looking for a win with a third different team. The Bengals are sitting at 2 point favorites in this game, which (for a team that was in the Super Bowl last year and isn’t dealing with any major injuries) seems like a slim margin against a banged up Saints team. Personally, I’m leaning heavily toward a Saints upset. They looked great last week against a Seahawks team that can really put up points, and I have so little faith in the Bengals to beat a team that hovers around any level of mediocrity – Trubisky looked competent playing them in week one… So, bet the Saints and take your free $200 from BetMGM!
