My Pick:

This game reminds me of a scenario that I’m currently dealing with, as one of my friends who is a decent musician has just dropped out of college to pursue a career in LA. He’s a good guy; I’m rooting for him to make it big time, but will he? Most likely not. I feel the same way about Matthew Stafford heading to Tampa Bay on Sunday. The Rams played a great game against Arizona, but everybody knows that Kliff Kingsbury coaches his best games during the first half of the season (he is now 16-44 after the first seven games of the season as a head coach).

The Bucs play football like I tackle academics; they coast during the regular season, showing flashes of their greatness, but don’t start trying until finals week rolls around. The Rams are a great match-up for the Bucs. The only way to beat Tom Brady in the playoffs is to put more pressure on him than an affluent parent puts on their child during college application season; Von Miller and Aaron Donald can certainly do that. Here’s the thing, though: betting against Tom Brady is almost as stupid as driving drunk. The man has thirty-five playoff wins, refuses to eat tomatoes, and is eighteen years older than the average NFL player. You could throw a million statistics and a litany of talking points at me; I’m still taking the Bucs. Vegas likes the Buccaneers at -3, and I love the pick.

Regardless of what happens don’t forget to bet $10 and win $200 when a TD is scored!
