Now 10-2 is a good season by almost every stretch of the imagination except if you’re Alabama. 40.8 points a game while only allowing 18 is so wild. Their only two losses were a buzzer beater field goal from Tennessee and a one point loss in overtime to LSU. They have the best defense in the Big 12 and a solid offense to go along with it. The Wildcats just handed TCU their only loss of the season in the Big 12 Championship. While Alabama’s offense is a couple steps ahead of the Wildcats their defenses are comparable. I think that Deuce Vaughn and a run game averaging almost 210 yards a game will be able to do some damage against Bama’s rush defense, one of their most vulnerable points. Bryce Young doesn’t have the weapons that historically Alabama offenses have had, and if Kansas State plays clean and forces turnovers without committing many like they have most of the season, this should be a great game. It’s up to the Wildcat’s defense and special teams to win them this game, but I think they’re up for it.
