(19)Purdue at (4)Ohio State. On paper, this is not supposed to be a good game. Vegas currently has the spread listed at OSU -21. The Buckeyes should handily win this game in every scenario. Ohio State has one of the best running backs in football and a Heisman candidate for a quarterback. Not to mention a few NFL prospects at damn near every position. They have the better team, they are motivated by playing in the college football playoff, and they’re playing at home. On paper, this is not supposed to be a good game.
And yet why do I feel like this one will be close.
Why do I feel like the sole existence of Purdue Football is to ruin the dreams of teams that can actually win a championship?

As far as this game goes, I think Purdue is that team in college football that no one will ever truly understand.
That sentence took a lot out of me. As an Indiana Hoosier, I hate Purdue with every cell in my body.
But as a gambler, I cannot run from the truth. Purdue does this shit every year, every single year, where they always start the season a little slow and somewhat underwhelming, and then they just turn into Alabama and beat everyone they play. Purdue loves ruining the seasons of the elite BIG-10 teams. This season, they’ve screwed Iowa and Michigan State. Ohio State could be next.
I don’t know what the hell you should do as far as a moneyline goes. I don’t even feel safe taking Ohio State to win. But for the love of god, take Purdue and the points, because I feel like this game will get close. I have evidence or logic to back this claim, as Purdue is a team of magic and witchcraft. All I have is envy. Indiana could do what Purdue does, but we always seem to fall short.
Oh well.
