Virginia against Boston College. I won’t lie; this game doesn’t really need too much analysis. Virginia is a better basketball team than Boston College, and you don’t need me to tell you that. But since there is a word quota on these blogs, I guess I can dive into the game a bit.

Boston College isn’t a bad basketball team by any stretch of the imagination. They are basically a 500-team, and they’ve beaten teams like Virginia Tech and Clemson. But they aren’t really anywhere near the same playing field as the Cavaliers. I mean, across the board, their leaders in the averages per game are lackluster at best. Their highest points-per-game scorer has 16.4 points per game, their team-high in rebounds per game is 6.1, and their highest number of assists per game is 2.7. I could honestly keep going on, but I think you get the picture here. There isn’t a lot to look forward to on this team. I guess the one bright spot on this team is Quinten Post. Since he’s leading the team in points and rebounds, it’s just not very great for the Eagles, is it?

Meanwhile, the Virginia Cavaliers are nothing but great. They are nationally ranked sixth, and they’re top of the ACC. This team may not have any standout starts, but that’s because this team’s depth at every single position is amazing. If I were to give a spotlight to one player, I would say guard Kihei Clark is one to look out for. He’s averaging 5.8 assists per game and 1.1 steals per game. Leading the team and second on the team in each category, respectively. I love his hustle, and he’s got an extremely high basketball IQ.

I’m not saying it’s impossible for Boston College to win against Virginia, but it’s not exactly likely. Bet on Virginia’s moneyline and get your extra $200 if the Cavaliers win.
