If you’re not on the hype train by now you better get on board. This Deion Sanders-led Boulder team is absolutely for real. I have never been so surprised by the speed of a franchise turnaround. But hey, Colorado gave Prime the keys, and low and behold the man can cook. People called him crazy when he cut scholarship kids, but they didn’t see the vision. They called it pure nepotism when his son was named starting quarterback, but now we see the kid’s abilities on display. I don’t care if you thought this team was gonna be good, you did not think they were gonna be this good. They have exceeded every expectation and they are about to steamroll Colorado State too. Man, I love football.
Colorado State has no wins right now. They’ve only played one game and in that game, they let up 50 points. If you think that’s good enough for them to even compete against the Buffaloes then you are sorely mistaken. This team is going to look like a Pop Warner team on the field this weekend. I wouldn’t be surprised if Prime just ran up the score on them for the heck of it. Do you think that this team’s two Quarterbacks having a combined 320 passing yards scares any member of Colrado’s defense? No. Do you think that having two passing touchdowns and an interception is good enough for the Rams to compete with Colorado State? Of course not. Do you truly believe that a team that let Washington State drop a 50 burger on their head is good enough to do anything to prevent the Buffaloes from scoring? Of course, you don’t. This is going to be a beatdown of epic proportions.
I don’t know how much you need to be reminded about how good this Colorado State team is, but let’s just look over some stats for a quick refresher. Shedeur Sanders has 903 (yes you read that correctly 903) passing yards in two games. He also has six passing touchdowns across that span not to mention his rushing touchdown as well. Travis Hunter currently has a shot at winning the Heisman based on what he’s been doing these past two games. 192 receiving yards, 14 receptions, 7 total tackles, 2 passes deflected, 1 forced fumble, and a pick. If there is something that this man can’t do, Prime has not found it yet. This playmaker is going to be like a kid in a candy shop going up against both the Ram’s defense and offense. He’s also not even the best receiver on the team. What the heck.
Colorado is going to obliterate Colorado State. Bet on the Buffaloes and take your free $200 from DraftKings!
