Well, here we go! One of the best college football slates we have seen in a long time is here, and after a surprisingly entertaining last week with upsets left and right this one should prove to be even better. A ranked Kansas State team travels to Colorado to take on Prime and company in a battle of 4-1 squads. Here is what you should know.
Well after a flukey start to last season, it seems the team in the mountains has kind of figured it out. They have looked pretty good this year, and while a lot of the credit can be given to Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders, 4-1 is nothing to turn your nose up at especially in this college football landscape. Will the dynamic two way play of Travis Hunter be enough to prevail? I don’t see how this kid is the consensus Heisman frontrunner, he plays almost the entire game and is just as effective a corner as he is a receiver. While Colorado has shown defensive weakness and shakey offensive line play at times, this will be no easy contest for Kansas State especially as they travel into hostile territory.
Now Kansas State is ranked number 18 for a reason. They have a better offense and defense than Colorado, and have some solid wins under their belt. K State has one of the best rushing attacks in the entire country, running for over 250 yards a game compared to Colorado’s 80.6. They score more points while allowing their opponents less, and for these reasons, I think Kansas State will win this one, even though I think it will be close. Who knows, I’m wrong a lot!
So whether you are rooting for a clear favorite or hoping for a miracle by the underdog, the most important thing to remember is that you must be in it to win it.
Always bet responsibly!
