What to say about the Indiana versus Kansas game? Well, both teams have been extremely hot so far this season, both teams have solid wins against great opponents, and both teams have college basketball stars on their rosters. I’ve been told to pick a winner, folks, and potentially for the first time, I’m at a loss. I guess because my job is on the line here, I’m taking the Jayhawks, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the Hoosiers came out on top.

The Hoosiers have been playing some amazing basketball, being spear-headed by Trayce Jackson-Davis. This kid is real. He has been averaging 16.8 points per game, 8.4 rebounds per game, and two blocks per game, leading his team in all of those categories. That is absolutely insane. Do you know what else is insane? The fact that he’s doing all of that while also shooting 64.5% from the field. I mean, what is this kid on?  Guard Xavier Johnson hasn’t exactly been a bum either, distributing the ball all around the court with 5.2 assists per game and locking players down with his 1.2 steals per game.

Kansas also has been an awesome team led by an awesome player. Jalen Wilson has been averaging 22.1 points per game and 9.4 rebounds per game. Which in a vacuum is insane, but then you realize it’s while shooting around 43% from the field, and you kinda begin to feel like he isn’t a real player but someone that was taken from 2K just to tear up the league. Something that may also get overlooked with the Jayhawks is the fact that Jalen Wilson has the worst shooting percentage in their starting five. And he’s the one averaging 22.1. That means that if you try to shut down Jalen, then there is a plethora of weapons that he can move the ball to in order to beat you.

The Hoosiers could very easily win this game, but I think that the Jayhawks may have the best player, so I’d say go with Kansas in this matchup. Bet on Kansas’ Moneyline to get $150 back if you pick the winner with DraftKings!
