We’re well underway with this college basketball season, and this week we get a great top 15 matchup between the #5 Kansas State Wildcats and the #12 Iowa State Cyclones. Let’s break it down so you can (responsibly) make the most out of this sweet offer from FanDuel.

Kansas State has been great. They’re first in the Big 12 and have only dropped 2 games all year, with one of those losses being to an amazing TCU squad. Their defense is not amazing, but the offense has been very solid, averaging almost 80 points a game on 46.4% shooting. Keyonte Johnson has been a monster, averaging 18.5 points and 7.4 rebounds a game, leading his team in both categories. They’ve struggled a bit on defense, letting up 67.5 points a game, but is that enough of a reason for a #5 team to be 5-point underdogs?

Now the Cyclones are by no means an electric team, but man, oh man, are they good. Reminiscent of Tim Duncan, they do the little things right, and by the little things, I mean defense and efficiency. They’re 11th in steals, 6th in defensive rating, and are only allowing 58.6 points a game. They’re amazing at home, and both of the Wildcat’s losses have come on the road. Iowa State is careful and precise with the ball when they have it and absolutely lockdown when their opponent has it. They’ve beaten a TCU team that smacked the Wildcats, and I think they should be able to defend their home turf and take a win on Wednesday.

The Cyclones are favorites for a reason; I think they win this one. Bet on Iowa State and get $150 back In Bonus Bets!
