Football is back Kansas, and kicking off the season we have an interesting matchup between the Wildcats and the Coyotes. After an above average season in the FCS finishing 7-5, South Dakota opens their 2022 campaign with an away game at Kansas State. Kansas State battled through a tough schedule in a tough conference, finishing fifth in a stacked Big 12 with an 8-5 record. Their QB had over 2,200 yards through the air, and the running back duo of Theis and Mansaray should eat up some yards on the ground. Klein takes on his new job as offensive coordinator for the Wildcats, and I think he tears apart a lackluster South Dakota defense.
