After both teams secured blowout wins, the 2-0 Tulane Green Wave will be packing up and travelling to Kansas to visit the 2-0 Kansas State Wildcats. Neither team has had much issue dispacting their competition up to this point, but the question is will that trend continue for one of these squads? Here’s what you need to know.

Tulane’s schedule has been about as challenging as killing a six pack during NFL Sunday. Their offense has been solid, especially on the ground. After a relatively easy win over UMass, the Green Wave built on that with a 52-0 curb stomping of Alcorn State. Through two games QB Michael Pratt has almost 500 yards and 6 total touchdowns. They’re punting less and doing a solid job with game management. That being said they’re 19 point dogs.

Kansas State has had an interesting start to the season. Their offense has been effective, averaging 37 points per game, even though their QB has yet to throw a touchdown. The run game has been the Wildcats’ bread and butter, averaging over 260 yards a game with running back Deuce Vaughn totalling 3 touchdowns and 271 rushing yards so far. They’ve been safer with the ball and more aggressive on defense, with four total sacks and 5 picks. I think the weakness of Tulane’s schedule will be exposed here, and a Kansas State roster with more talent and in a more competitive division should win soundly.

Look for the Wildcats to ride the (Green) Wave this weekend. Take Kansas State and take your free $200 from DraftKings!
