What to say about Kansas versus Baylor. Well, Kansas is ranked second in college basketball, and Baylor is ranked 21st in college basketball. Kansas has lost fewer games this season, has been playing better opponents and has been scoring more points against those opponents. So, I would say let’s just be logical and understand that Kansas is definitely winning this game.

Now Baylor is at least ranked, so I guess that’s good. And they’ve only lost five games, so I guess that’s good too. But there are a few things about this team that has me nervous. The first of which is their top scorer, Keyonte George. He has been averaging 17.4 points per game, and yes, that’s good, obviously. However, those points are coming at a 39% clip from the field, which is actually the lowest shooting percentage of the entire team. I’m not a math major, but if your highest scorer has to take more shots than the other team’s highest scorer, that seems like a lot of wasted possessions to me. The second thing that worries me is their lack of true scoring options. Only three players on the entire team are scoring above 10 points per game, which doesn’t really scream top offense to me.

Now, when it comes to the Jayhawks, I’ll be the first to admit that losing two games in a row isn’t great. However, that just means that the second-best team in College Basketball right now wants a win that much more. There is another point I’d like to make about this Kansas team. That point is named Jalen Wilson. Jalen is averaging 21.3 points per game and 8.8 rebounds per game, leading this loaded Kansas team in both categories. He’s also averaging those 21 points on about 42% shooting from the field. Dajuan Harris Jr. is also having a great season averaging 6.6 assists per game, putting him fifth in the country for that stat. So yea, that’s not bad, I guess.

Kansas is a better basketball team than Baylor. Don’t worry about Kansas’ losing streak; this is the game they snap it. Bet on Kansas and get $150 back instantly!
