These blogs are supposed to be around 300 words, so it looks like I get to try and be really creative in how I say that Maryland is going to absolutely destroy Louisville. This game won’t even be close. Even if the spread for the Terrapins is -75, I’m taking it.

Louisville hasn’t won a game yet. Not a single one. They’ve played six, and they’ve lost six. I mean, El Ellis has been trying his absolute best to backpack this team to some sort of a win averaging 17.2 points per game and 3.5 assists, but he has been given absolutely zero help. Besides El, the highest average scorer on the Cards is putting up 8.7 points per game. And it’s their big man, whose only job is to sit underneath the rim and try to make layups or put-back dunks. That is abysmal.

Meanwhile, Maryland has been absolutely killing it this season. They are the exact opposite of this Cardinals team. They’ve played six, and they’ve won six. To translate for all of you out there who were not so good at 1st-grade arithmetic, they are undefeated. The Terrapins have four players averaging double digits in points per game. Leading the way is Donta Scott, whose 15.5 points per game have come with 50% shooting from the field and 42% shooting from three. That means that this 6’8” 230-pound machine is shooting the three-ball almost as well as Steph Curry. Their other big man, Julian Reece, is not so far behind him, averaging 15 points per game and leading the team in rebounds and blocks.

Look, I don’t want to waste anyone’s time. Maryland is winning this game by a million; Louisville will not get their first win of the season against a ranked team. Bet Maryland’s Moneyline to get back $200 instantly with DraftKings!
