This weekend the 5-2 Purdue Boilermakers are travelling to Wisconsin to play the 3-4 Badgers in a nice Big 10 rivalry game. Here’s what you need to know to responsibly make the most of this sweet DraftKings offer!
The Badgers have been pretty mediocre for a while, but this 3-4 start has got to hurt. After a close loss to a struggling Michigan State team, Wisconsin is looking to bounce back. The spread is hovering around by 2.5 points right now, but none of Wisconsin’s games have been that close. The Badgers defense has struggled like a business major when they have homework, but their offense is averaging around 400 yards a game. They do have a decent passing defense which is how Purdue likes to attack, so that will be an interesting matchup.
Now Purdue on the other hand has had a pretty solid season. They barely lost to number 14 Syracuse, and had good wins against Maryland and Nebraska. The Boilermaker offense is humming, averaging around 450 yards a game, but their defense has been giving up 350. QB Aidan O’Connell has about 2,000 yards, 14 TDs and only 5 picks, with the 22nd highest QBR. I think Purdue will pour it on and hold Wisconsin enough to take home the W. While these kids might be on the nerdy side, dammit they can ball, and Wisconsin has looked pretty bad.
