In week 4 of college football UTSA will be hosted by the Tennessee Vols who are ranked 23 in the nation right now. Coming off of last season, the Vols were really good and now they are kind of mediocre this year. They still have a lot of talent this year but aren’t ranked as highly as they were. UTSA is 1-2 right now and this game against Tennessee might not look too hot for them especially at Neyland Stadium. The most exciting thing about this game might be listening to “Rocky Top”.
Although the Vols aren’t starting off quite the way they did last year, they still have amazing talent. Last week the Vols lost to the Florida Gators 29-16, so they will be fired up in this game to win and show that they deserve to be ranked 23 and if not higher. Joe Milton, quarterback, has shown off his incredible arm the last few weeks. Even with the loss under his belt, Milton threw 287 yards, had 2 touchdowns, and had 1 interception. Even with the interception this was still a great game for Milton and it will be exciting to see what he does this week against UTSA. Other players to watch for on the offense this game will be Bru McCoy, Marquarius White, and Jaylen Wright. These players have shown off their raw talent in the last 3 weeks so they will be fun to watch in this game.
UTSA started their football program in 2011 so they are fairly new to the world of college football unlike some programs. They are looking to make their mark in college football and they haven’t done too well so far this season. Being 1-2 going into week 4 is going to be rough for them, especially taking on the Vols. Last week they barely lost to Army but despite this their quarterback, Eddie Lee Marburger had a pretty good game. He threw for 239 yards and had 3 touchdown passes. Joshua Cephus and Devin McCuin will be top receivers to watch in this game especially after last week. I’m not sure how the offense will put up with the Vols defense but this matchup is not looking good if you are a UTSA fan.
My predictions of this game is that the Vols are going to outrun the Roadrunners. With the Vols playing at home and listening to “Rocky Top” it’s going to be a tough one for the Roadrunners to come out on top. UTSA could shock the world and beat the Vols but that is almost like investing into a penny stock and hoping it hits $1.
