Championship season is finally here, ladies and gentlemen. The Texas Christian University Horned Frogs vs the Kansas State Wildcats battle it out for the Big 12 Title. Let’s break down this unreal matchup so you can (responsibly) make the most out of this sweet DraftKings offer.

The haters have done nothing but fuel the Frogs this season, as they sit pretty with a perfect 12-0 record. They’ve had a tough schedule against a slew of ranked teams, but every time they’ve come out on top. That offense has been absolutely dynamic, averaging almost 475 yards a game, with 198.5 of those yards coming on the ground. That’s scarier than a “we need to talk” text from your girlfriend. Kansas State has also struggled against the run this year, letting up around 150 rush yards a game which bodes well for Frogs fans. TCU just annihilated Iowa State 62-14, and Max Duggan is making a case for the Heisman with 3070 yards, 29 touchdowns, and only 3 interceptions. With all that said it looks like the Frogs should jump to 13-0 after this week easily right? Well, then why is the spread only 2.5…

I think I can explain why. It’s because Vegas knows this Wildcats squad has been criminally underrated all year long. They should have beat TCU but blew a nice lead to them earlier in the season and have battled through injuries at key positions, like quarterback, to dominate good teams, for example, when they blanked number 9 Oklahoma state and put up 48 with their backup quarterback. All three of their losses were to teams that are currently ranked. Despite missing Adrian Martinez, Will Howard has been great with an 88.8 rating and 13:2 touchdown to interception ratio carrying them through key games to earn a spot at the Championship. He was solid in relief against TCU earlier in the season, and combine his passing with the prowess of Deuce Vaughn on the ground and that Wildcats super balanced offense could do more damage than a drunk Taco Bell order can do to your digestive system. The defense has also been better than the Frogs, only letting up 357 yards a game. There’s no home crowd to help TCU this time; I think the Kansas State defense will step up and keep the game close enough for their offense to bring home the Big 12 Championship!

It’s hard to beat the same team twice; I like the Wildcats here. Take Kansas State Moneyline and get your free $150 from DraftKings!
