It’s Bills vs. Jets in a battle for a win in a competitive AFC East division. Both teams have pretty good seasons, with the Jets being one of the more surprising teams in the league. Here’s what you need to know to (responsibly) make the most out of this sweet offer from DraftKings.
Despite their success record wise, the Jets have some QB controversy after the benching of Zach Wilson. The dude was too focused on cougars and not completions. Mike White has come in and led a struggling Jets offense to a win over the Bears, then a very close loss against one of the best all around teams in the league in the Vikings. He’s thrown for over 300 yards in both games, including a three touchdown outing against Chicago. Despite the loss of Breece Hall, the run game has remained solid with Michael Carter at the helm, but injury concerns have him questionable for this week. The Jets also boast one of the best defenses in the league, allowing just 213 pass yards a game. Sauce Gardner really is that guy. Despite their shakey offense, they already beat the Bills once this year, and I think they’ll be able to at least keep it close against the current Super Bowl favorites.
Now after back to back losses in weeks 9 and 10, including a loss to the Jets, the Bills put together a nice three game win streak. They’re 4-1 at home; I guess Bills Mafia really does help the team as well as local liquor stores. The offense is averaging 420 yards a game, nice, and is putting up almost 28 points a game while letting up 10 points. That is a better ratio than Pike on Thirsty Thursday. Josh Allen has looked a little shaky the past couple of games, but the Bills have too many playmakers on both sides of the ball to let it affect them too much. Losing Von Miller might hurt a little, but it should not make enough of a difference to where the Bills drop this game at home. I’m taking the Bills in this one, but I think it will be closer than most people would expect.
