So the Blackhawks have struggled a bit this season. As of writing, they’re 22-38-6 and 8th in the Central division. Now the Bruins remain the best team in the league and the odd-on favorite to end the season in possession of Lord Stanley’s Cup. They are officially the fastest team in NHL history to reach 50 wins in a season, doing it in just 65 games. The Bruins have one of the best offenses in the league, averaging 3.75 goals a game with the 2nd best faceoff win percentage and the third best shooting percentage. I mean, for goodness sake, they have a line called the Perfection Line. That’s pretty dang hard to top if you ask me. Oh, and before I forget, Boston also has the best defense in the league allowing only 2.09 goals a game. They have the best penalty kill, and Ulmark, who is expected to play in Chicago, has a 1.89 GAA with a .938 save percentage. Those are MVP numbers if Connor McDavid didn’t exist. Yeah, I’m going back to Boston on this one.
