While we all hope that Philadelphia beats Houston twice this week, this is the one that shouldn’t be challenging. The Texans have a lot of draft picks and a bright future in front of them, but right now, they are the worst team in the league. The Make-A-Wish kids that play on the field at halftime could keep Houston within ten points. They are in the bottom three of the league in offensive yards per game, third-down conversion rate, points per game, and rushing yards allowed per game. Houston has one bright spot and it’s their secondary; rookie Derek Stingley Jr. is exactly who the Texans thought they were getting out of LSU- an incredibly talented athlete that can lock opposing receivers up like he’s on one of the early seasons of Cops. Other than that, there’s nothing stopping the Eagles from getting Texans fans to leave this game before halftime. For crying out, the Texans only gained ten first downs last week.

If anything, this game might hurt Jalen Hurts’ MVP chances because Nick Sirianni is going to run the ball like he’s playing Madden, and the controller is glitching out. The worst running defense in the league against the highest PFF-rated offensive line in the league and a healthy Miles Sanders? Next question. The Eagles have three straight games with no turnovers. Philadelphia is the ninth team in the Super Bowl era to produce no losses, 1500 passing yards, and 1,000 rushing yards through seven games. Six of the eight that previously accomplished that feat made it to the Super Bowl. The Texans have won four games at home since the start of the COVID season. Over two and a half seasons of football, that’s a tragic figure. Vegas likes the Eagles -14, and they will cover with ease. Take the Eagles Moneyline and get your free $200 from DraftKings!
