A battle of the backs. The breakout rookie against the comeback kid. 1-6-1 taking on 6-2. Here’s what you need to know as the Texans travel up north to take on the Giants.

The Texans are in full rebuild mode, and with the breakout success of Dameon Pierce, I would say it is going well. The team as a whole, however, is not doing well. The offense is barely over 300 yards a game, and the defense is letting up over 410. Yikes. I am a member of Mills Mafia, but either get him some help or move on. Brandin Cooks has also been a bright spot, but I’m still baffled why they did not move him at the deadline. I have little faith in this team, and the Giants squad they’re taking on looks like a giant challenge for Houston.

Now the Giants look like a completely different team than last year. Daniel Jones looks more like Josh Allen, and Saquon is having a career resurgence unlike any running back in recent memory. The Texans run defense is letting up 180 yards a game, and you best believe Barkley will take full advantage of this. The Giants are excellent at home, only dropping one game, while the Texans have struggled on the road at 1-3. I don’t see the Giants losing this one, but the Texans might keep it close.

If you ask me, I like the home favorite here. Take the Giants Moneyline and get your free $200 from DraftKings!
