Series Analysis:
The Lightning got a huge win in game four to make the series 2-1, and it looks like things are starting to get good. The game was 3-2 Tampa Bay about midway through the second period, and then Tampa exploded. They scored three goals in less than 10 minutes and then cruzed the rest of the way. Tampa Bay looked like a new team and have completely shifted the momentum of the series. Although the Avalanche lost, they are still in a great position because if they win game four they could close the series out at home in game five. I think this is the most important game of the series, and the team that wins game four will end up winning the cup. That being said, the Avalanche need to regroup and figure out things on the defensive end, and if Darcy Kuemper gets the start in net he has to be better or it’s going to be nearly impossible to win. I am taking the Avalanche in game four; I think they bounce back and win in a close game. The Avalanche haven’t lost back-to-back games the whole playoffs, and I don’t think that will change.
