Despite a fantastic start to his NFL career for rookie running back Dameon Pierce, the Texans might still be the worst team in the league. They tied the Colts, and their only win was against a Jags team that has struggled this year. The offense really doesn’t have many weapons, and I don’t think Davis Mills is the long term answer to a team that has struggled without Deshaun Watson. Their defense, while fine, has been nothing to write home about, and after the firing of Jack Easterby, I think Houston is content to be a bottom tier team for a little longer to help the rebuild. Trust the process I guess?
Now the Titans have not been the best performing team in the NFL, but they’re hotter than you thought the babysitter you had a crush on was when you were a kid. After dropping the first two games of the season Tannehill and the Titans have bounced back rattling off four straight with wins over the Raiders, Commanders, and two victories over the Colts, which is hard to do no matter the team. Derrick Henry is still an animal, and any given game could have 200 yards and three touchdowns. If the defense can continue to play alright and Tannehill limits his turnovers, I think this Titans squad can make quick work of the tanking Texans.
