It’s time to get HYPE college football fans! Week 11 of the college football season is officially here! After an intense Week 10, there will be even more important games this week, with teams looking to take things to another level with bowl season and the College Football Playoff approaching fast! With college football’s regular season nearing its conclusion, every win and loss counts more from this point forward. One of the key matchups this week will be the Georgia Bulldogs taking on the Ole Miss Rebels in what will be a key SEC rivalry game.
Sitting comfortably at number two in the College Football rankings, the Bulldogs control their destiny in reaching the College Football Playoff entering Week 11 of the season. But getting to the promised land will be no walk in the park for the dogs. Their remaining four games will all be against FBS teams, two of whom rank in the top 20.
One of the keys for the Bulldogs will be the play of their starting quarterback Carson Beck. Beck left a lot to be desired in Georgia’s matchup against Florida last weekend, which nearly resulted in them being upset by the unranked Gators. After throwing three interceptions against Florida last weekend, things won’t get anything easier for Beck and the Bulldogs. Ole Miss has the number six scoring defense in the country putting up nearly two touchdowns on the day.
The Bulldogs’ defense will also have their hands full with Ole Miss. The Rebels’ offense is ranked fourth in the country, racking up 42.1 points per game.
Still, Georgia comes in as a -3.5-point favorite in this matchup.
So whether you are rooting for a clear favorite or hoping for a miracle by the underdog, the most important thing to remember is that you must be in it to win it.
