Monday Night Football Analysis
NFL fans are in for a real treat tonight as Monday Night Football will include a doubleheader for twice as much action.
The first game will feature Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills taking on Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars. And it will be a pivotal matchup for both teams.
The Bills will look to join the Minnesota Vikings, Pittsburgh Steelers, Seattle Seahawks, and the Kansas City Chiefs as the NFL’s only undefeated teams. It will be crucial for them to secure a victory tonight after the New York Jets win on Thursday. They will no longer have sole possession of first place in the AFC East with a loss.
For the Jaguars, they are just looking for a glimmer of hope. They appear to still have a hangover from falling out of last year’s playoff picture as they have lost seven consecutive games dating back to last season. A win over a formidable opponent like the Bills could do wonders for their confidence moving forward.
In the second Monday Night Football matchup, the Washington Commanders will face off against the Cincinnati Bengals and both teams could use a win.
For the Commanders, the NFL East is as wide open as it has ever been. A win over the Bengals would move them to 2-1 which would be tied for first place in the division.
As for the Bengals, they are already in a 0-2 hole to start the season. Playing in a highly competitive AFC North division, going down 0-3 could spell the end of their season.
So whether you are rooting for a clear favorite or hoping for a miracle by the underdog, the most important thing to remember is that you must be in it to win it.
