Get ready for Week 8 of the NFL season! After an explosive slate of games in Week 7, fans are excited about what drama will unfold this week as teams will look to crank up the intensity with the playoffs right around the corner! Every win and loss becomes more important from this point forward. One of the key matchups in Week 8 will be a Primetime showdown cross divisional matchup between the Giants of New York and the hosting Pittsburgh Steelers.
Well, the Giants are still bad and it does not seem like Daniel Jones is the future of this team. They have one of the worst offenses in the league despite dynamic wide receiver play from the rookie Malik Nabers. With wins over the Seahawks and Browns, the Giants can be frisky, but they are by no means a good team. The duo of Singletary and Tracy has been solid and the defense is not terrible, it seems like the Giants are an elite quarterback away from really being able to compete in this league.
Now the Steelers have been pleasantly surprising as a team this season. Justin Fields really helped carry this team through a tough stretch and it seems like Russell Wilson is taking the reigns as Fields struggles with some injuries. At 5-2, this Tomlin-coached squad is dangerous and should absolutely be looking to defend their home turf Monday night against an inferior opponent. The Steelers are more talented on both sides of the ball, especially defensively. Harris has been solid, the wide receiver core is good, and that defense is scary. Give me the Steelers at home in this one.
So whether you are rooting for a clear favorite or hoping for a miracle by the underdog, the most important thing to remember is that you must be in it to win it.
Always gamble responsibly.
