Get ready for Week 7 of the NFL season! After an action-packed slate of games in Week 6, expect to see more of the same in Week 7 as teams will look to crank up the intensity as the playoffs are right around the corner. That means every win and loss becomes more important. One of the key matchups in Week 8 will be the New York Jets vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers in what should be a highly entertaining matchup between two AFC heavyweights.
The Jets may have lost their first game against the Bills under interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich, but things look promising. Their offense looked as fluid as it has looked this season under their new head coach. In addition, help is on the way for New York. On Tuesday the Jets finalized a deal to land all-pro wide receiver Davante Adams. After missing the previous three weeks with a hamstring injury, Adams is expected to suit up on Sunday Night.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are also set to make a change for their matchup with the Jets. After missing the first six weeks with a calf injury, Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson is expected to make his Steelers debut on Sunday night. Fourth-year man Justin Fields started the season under center and did a fairly decent job controlling the reins. He led the Steelers to a 4-2 record including a 3-0 start in Wilson’s absence. But head coach Mike Tomlin has decided to go with a more seasoned quarterback under center as the season inches closer to the playoffs.
So whether you are rooting for a clear favorite or hoping for a miracle by the underdog, the most important thing to remember is that you must be in it to win it.
