One of the pivotal games in Week 5 will be the New York Jets taking on the Minnesota Vikings. There won’t be any home-field advantage for this one as both teams will travel to London as the NFL looks to grow the game globally. You’ll have to be an early bird to catch this game. Kickoff is at 9 am on the east coast and 6 am on the west.
This matchup will be a pivotal one for both teams as the season matures and games become even more important for postseason positioning.
The Jets are arguably coming off their worst loss of the season. After a loss to the Broncos, the Jets are just 2-2 on the season.
Aaron Rodgers and the offense have struggled. They didn’t get into the endzone at all in their Week 3 matchup against Denver. The veteran quarterback has struggled to get on the same page with the Jets young receiving core. They’ll look to get back on the same page in Week 4.
For Darnold and the Vikings, it has been quite the opposite as they just keep winning. Sam Darnold and the Minnesota Offense have proven to be arguably the most electric in the NFL. They have scored at least 20 points in their first four games and have put up 30 points in their last two games.
This will also be a revenge game for the Vikings quarterback. Darnold was drafted by the New York Jets 3rd overall in the 2018 NFL Draft. But after a dismal three seasons in New York, the Jets parted ways with him and drafted Zach Wilson in 2020. Darnold and the Vikings will put their undefeated record on the line against his former team.
So whether you are rooting for a clear favorite or hoping for a miracle by the underdog, the most important thing to remember is that you must be in it to win it.
