Get hyped baseball fans! It’s officially time for the 2024 World Series. After a long season, the two best teams in baseball will battle for the right to be called the best team in the sport. The New York Yankees will take on the Los Angeles Dodgers and battle it out in what should be a classic World Series.

The New York Yankees road to the World Series was relatively smooth. In their series against the Cleveland Indians and the Kansas City Royals, they lost a total of two games. It’s easy to see why, as they have one of the most talented rosters in Major League Baseball. Already having two of the best two hitters in the Majors, in Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton, the Yankees acquired another big bat in All-Star outfielder Juan Soto, who has proven to be worth every penny. And on the defensive side, pitchers Gerrit Cole and Jason Weaver have also done their job in keeping the opposing offenses in check.

But the Dodgers have proven to be equally as talented. After not making a World Series since 2020, Los Angeles went out and landed highly-touted free agent, Shohei Ohtani. And that has proven to be the right decision. Although Ohtani has not pitched for the Dodgers, he has made up for it with his offensive talent, with 3 home runs and 10 RBIs in the postseason up to this point.

With this being one of the most star-studded World Series in recent memory, it could turn out to be a thriller.

So whether you are rooting for a clear favorite or hoping for a miracle by the underdog, the most important thing to remember is that you must be in it to win it.
