Golden State can guard you a variety of ways, with Andrew Wiggins becoming a legitimate defensive stopper who, paired with Draymond Green, led one of the regular season’s best defensive units.
In these playoffs, the Warriors have been more unconscious than that one dude who got in Mike Tyson’s face on an airplane. Golden State has maintained a league-leading 116.1 offensive rating throughout this postseason, but that isn’t even the scary part. What makes the Warriors the NBA equivalent to a Stephen King book is the number +94. That’s their plus/minus in the fourth quarter since the playoffs started. So even when you think you have this team down and out, at any moment, Klay, Steph, or Jordan Poole could hit you with an array of threes. I have all the respect in the world for what the Celtics do on defense and the emergence of Jayson Tatum becoming that guy; however, the Warriors wrap this one up in six games or less.
