The Denver Broncos didn’t seem to have much going for them at the beginning of the season. However, with the NFL now entering Week 17, Denver has been one of the more surprising teams this year. After a slow start to the season, dropping their first two games, the Broncos have climbed the ranks and are now viewed as one of the more dangerous teams in the NFL this season, and have won three of their last four games. While the Broncos have no shot of winning the AFC West as the division as the 15-1 Chiefs have dominated, every game counts as they want to get into a favorable position for the playoffs.
The Cincinnati Bengals have been among the unluckiest teams in the NFL this season. Despite being one of the highest-scoring teams in the league at 28.2 points per game this season, those points have rarely translated to wins. They are currently in third place in the AFC North with a record of 7-8. But the Bengals playoff hopes are not dead yet. Although they don’t control their own destiny they have a realistic shot at making the postseason.
The Bengals are slightly favored in this matchup by a three-point margin over the Broncos. Oddsmakers also believe that this matchup will be a high-scoring affair with the over/under marked at 49.5 points.
