The Los Angeles Lakers came into this season with high expectations after parting ways with former head coach Darvin Ham and hiring JJ Redick. But so far, the Lakers have underdelivered. They currently sit in 10th place in the Western Conference standings with a record of 14-12. But it is very early in the season, and the Lakers have one of the best duos in the NBA featuring LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Things may look dark now, but the reality is that the Lakers are just 6.5 games out of first place with a little more than half a season to go.

The was a lot of skepticism surrounding the Golden State Warriors coming into this season. Especially after they parted ways with long-time splash brother Klay Thompson this offseason. But the Warriors came out scorching to start the season winning seven of their first eight games. But as the season has matured, the Warriors have come back to earth a little bit and now sit in seventh place in the Western Conference with a 14-11 record. The Warriors are still in a much better position than most in the Western Conference, but with the race for the postseason scheduled to heat up in 2025, now is the time for them to get things back on the right track.

The Golden State Warriors enter this matchup as the favorites to win by a 4.5 point spread. Oddsmakers are also predicting a high-scoring affair with the over/under at a whopping 234 points.
