The New Orleans Saints appeared to be in business to start the season with first-year quarterback Derek Carr leading the charge. They won their first two games of the season, scoring 40 points or more in both games. But the Saints have pretty much spiraled since that 2-0. But they appear to have found new life as the season nears its conclusion, as they have won three of their last four games. Their recent hot streak couldn’t have come at a more perfect time as the race for the NFC South is heating up and they can mathematically still win their division.

There was a lot of pessimism about the Green Bay Packers heading into this season. But after a lackluster start, they have also put forward an impressive stretch of performances. They have come out victorious in seven of their last nine games. Unfortunately for Green Bay, they will not win the NFC North division this year as the crown has already been claimed by the Detroit Lions. Buy the Packers still have plenty to play for. As the playoff race heats up they want to secure a favorable position in the NFC postseason picture.

So whether you are rooting for a clear favorite or hoping for a miracle by the underdog, the most important thing to remember is that you must be in it to win it.
