The moment is finally here! Alas, Former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson will take on social media star Jake Paul. The showdown will take place on November 15 after the initial July 20th date was nixed because of Tyson’s health complications. It will go down at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and will be live-streamed on Netflix and available to all Netflix subscribers.

In most cases, Tyson would be the overwhelming favorite in this bout. He has competed in 58 fights in his career. He has a career record of 50 wins and just six losses, with two of his bouts being no-contests. Of his 50 wins, 44 have come by way of knockout. He has also been heavyweight champion six times, including being the undisputed heavyweight champion from 1987-1990.

But Tyson is 50 years old and hasn’t stepped in the ring since 2005. Which is why the much younger Jake Paul comes in as the -250 favorite. In a short time, Paul has become one of the biggest stars in boxing, like it or not. Some have put the opponents Paul has faced under a microscope. But his record can’t be denied. He has a record of 10-1 with seven of those wins coming by way of knockout.

This will be the first time that Paul and Tyson face each other in the ring. But it won’t be the first time that they are on the same fight card. Paul was on Tyson’s undercard for his second professional fight. He knocked out former NBA star Nate Robinson in a convincing victory.

So whether you are rooting for a clear favorite or hoping for a miracle by the underdog, the most important thing to remember is that you must be in it to win it.
