Kentucky and Miami (the Ohio Miami, not the one with tanned girls in bikinis) face off this Saturday in their season opener of the 2022 college football season. Kentucky finished last season with an overall record of 10-3, coming in second to Georgia in their division, while the Miami RedHawks had a less successful 2021 going 7-6 overall but still managing to snag a second place finish in their division, the MAC East. Despite both coming in second in their respective divisions, this game is a no question. Kentucky is in a different league than Miami, and it’s looking like I have a better shot at getting Megan Foxx to answer one of my DMs than the RedHawks do of taking home a victory.

This is football, though, and there’s always factors that could have an upset happen. Kentucky’s starting running back, Chris Rodriguez Jr., is facing a multiple game suspension after pleading guilty to a DUI charge back in July that also involved super senior linebacker Jordan Wright, who is also expected to miss multiple games. Miami is the favorite to win its division, so they could prove more of a challenge for Kentucky than anticipated with two key players missing from their starting lineup. Still, though, it’d have to be a David vs. Goliath victory, and Kentucky’s not a team that gives away wins to teams that don’t deserve it. So, go over to PrizePicks and when you sign up and deposit some money to bet on Kentucky to decimate the RedHawks, you’ll get $50 to bet with for free.
