Man what a College Football season we have had so far. Sleeper teams remain undefeated while upsets happen all around us. Here’s what you need to know about this weekend’s matchup between the undefeated Wolverines and Nittany Lions.

Starting with Penn State, we see a team where both offense and defense are above average. They’re averaging almost 450 yards a game, with around 250 through the air and 190 on the ground. They blew Auburn out early on in the season, but just barely escaped with a win in their last game against a Northwestern team who is 1-5. Their defense has been a little all over the place, only allowing around 14 points a game, but letting up on average 340 yards. That won’t fly against a tough Michigan squad. Good news is their rush defense has been a bright spot, and the Wolverines like to establish the run. I think Penn State might give them some trouble in that department, especially early on.

Now Michigan also has an impressive offense, but their defense is where they are shining. Allowing less than 250 yards a game while scoring 43 points is pretty amazing, but what is less amazing is their strength of schedule. After back to back to back blowouts to start the year, Michigan’s last three games have been closer than they would have liked. That being said I think they still are able to control a close game with Penn State and remain undefeated after this weekend.

Call me crazy but I think Michigan wins but fails to cover. Take the Wolverines to win with your free bet up to $1,250!
