It’s hard to find a flaw with the 49ers right now. Their defense is as scary as it has been the past few years, allowing barely 300 yards a game and only 18.1 points. They’re also training at the Air Force Academy to prepare for the high elevation at Estadio Azteca. That venue is going to be so cool, by the way, I’m excited. Enough about the defense; let’s talk about this offense. George Kittle, Brandon Aiyuk, Deebo Samuel, and Christian freaking McCaffrey. They’re good for over 370 yards a game. I’m not gonna sugarcoat it, it’s been a disappointing season for the Cardinals. They’ve lost to teams good and bad but also have won some close games against good defenses. I get it Kyler, the new Call of Duty is super fun, and sometimes I don’t do work, so I can play it (don’t tell my boss), but you need to get it together, man. There have been some bright spots, like the wide receiver core and breakout of Rondale Moore, but also, the running back crew has been solid. They’re not far behind the Niners in average total offense with 355 a game, but the defense has struggled. The Cards are used to playing in that hotter climate, and who knows what will happen in Mexico. I think Arizona has been disrespected all year, and call me crazy, but I think the value is on the Cards here.
