It’s Bowl Season, aka the most wonderful time of the year! We have Ohio vs Wyoming in the Arizona Bowl, and boy, this should be a good matchup. Here’s what you should know to (responsibly) make the most out of this sweet offer from BetMGM.

First things first, for Ohio, the loss of Kurtis Rourke is brutal. After a stellar season failing to secure a championship because of an injury is brutal. Wyoming, while with their own offensive struggles has the better defense in this matchup. They give up five fewer points per game on almost 70 fewer yards allowed. This weakness in Ohio’s defense should allow Wyoming to move the ball with more ease than they’re used to. The Cowboys will most likely rely on their run game as that’s where they’ve had the most success this season, more success than a James Cameron Avatar movie. In order to win this game, Wyoming will need to run the ball almost every play, control the clock, and shut down the Bobcats’ offense. That’s kind of a big ask in my opinion. Craig Bohl has shown his mettle as a coach in big games, under his leadership, will the Cowboys take home a ring?

Let’s dive into Ohio. Besides being one of the more visually pleasing states in our country with it’s stunning natural beauty, Ohio has a damn good football team. Their two biggest flaws right now are having to start their backup QB, and their defense is about as weak as my ability to carry a conversation with a woman. That being said, Wyoming’s top FOUR options at running back are out for this game, and the run game was one of their offense’s strong suits while Ohio’s defensive weakness. One of their top targets through the air Joshua Cobbs is also out, so the Cowboys offense is more depleted than my Dms. Even though QB Kurtis Rourke is out, their backup CJ Harris has had a few weeks at the helm of the offense and should be comfortable running the show. The Bobcat offense is averaging over 11 more points than Wyoming, and if they’re able to contain the Cowboys run game to some degree, I think this is their game to lose.

I’m taking Ohio to win this week, so be sure to sign up today with BetMGM to get your free $200 when sports betting goes live!
