Listen, I am as bummed as anyone that we won’t get to see Aaron Rodgers lead the Packers into a clash against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs this week. Mailman Dave wrote about it yesterday, but, in case you missed it, let me refreshe you:
Aaron Rodgers, tested positive for COVID-19… Rodgers will not be starting in Sunday’s game… He had previously claimed to be “immunized,” which I guess everyone thought meant ‘vaxxed’ … since he started dating Shaline Woodley and handing out with Mile (fvcking) Teller, he has become a weirdo … so ‘immunized’ meant some voodoo shit that the NFL does not recognize as actual vaccination. So, because of that, he will be following the protocols of an unvaccinated player and missing the game.
Mahomes was naturally asked about the situation… which, I suppose, he has to answer.
This is what he said:
“When you get to see an all-time great like him play and I’ve kind of watched his game for a long time, feeling that I play a similar style, you always want to compete against the best. Hopefully he’s healthy, it’s not too bad, I’m sure he’ll come back from it stronger than he was before.”
“I haven’t got to yet. I heard about it as I was going on to the walk-through on the field. Obviously, it’s disappointing and I hope that he’s healthy and that he can get through it. COVID is a scary deal, and it can kind of get anybody so just praying for him that he can get back to who he is.”
Listen, that is about as vague of an answer as he could have given, so that is not the point.
The point I want to make is that he needs to tell his brother (and his fiance, for that matter) to shut the fvck up because they are two of the most annoying people on social media.
Jackson’s most recent failed attention grab was dancing on the No. 21 of Sean Taylor at the Washington Redskins Football Team ceremony two weekends ago.
He had to issue an apology for his stunt.
He has since stayed in the spotlight(?, I guess) by posting shitty content, nonstop.
Maybe (just maybe) Patty Cakes has had a talk with Jackson. The game this week against the Giants had some ice cold body language from the two as Patrick barely acknowledge him pregame.
Let’s go to the tape:
Yep, Jackson was third to get some love, and it was as brief as possible.
GOOD.
The line has moved in a big way with the news coming out, so hopefully you were in on the Chiefs early.
