After Sunday’s Pro Bowl (which by the way is the most pathetic “all-star” game in all of sports), New Orleans Saints’ running back, Alvin Kamara, was arrested in Las Vegas on the charges of battery.
Police investigated the victim who was beaten at a night club in Las Vegas on Saturday night, and after conversations with the victim in the hospital, they determined that the perpetrator was Alvin Kamara.
Kamara played in the Pro Bowl on Sunday for the NFC, and he came out of it with four catches for 23 yards in the loss to the AFC. This was Kamara’s fifth Pro Bowl in his five years in the NFL, but after his arrest, it is unclear whether he will ever participate in another one.
Police stated that they arrested Kamara without any incident on Sunday night, and Kamara is now out of jail after posting his bail. At this time, Kamara and his team as well as the New Orleans Saints organization have remained quiet regarding the matter, most likely waiting for a more detailed report from the Las Vegas police before commenting on the situation. In a season where the Saints were more than underwhelming, it’s clear that this incident will not be beneficial for the future of their team. Kamara is one of the stars of the Saints, and he had more than 1,000 yards and nine touchdowns this season.
