The NFL season has given us its fair share of intriguing stories so far. Aaron Rodgers and the Jets, Nick Chubb and his knee, but probably one of the most talked-about topics lately has been the rumored relationship between Chiefs’ star tight end, Travis Kelce, and the world-famous pop star, Taylor Swift.
I’m not gonna act like this is the most important news in the NFL, but I have never seen my girlfriend more intrigued by the things I do on Sundays. She has constantly asked whether or not Travis Kelce is still hurt and relates every team’s colors to the different Taylor Swift “Eras”.
During a recent appearance on a Philadelphia sports radio show, Jason Kelce, Travis’ brother, didn’t hold back. He confidently stated that he believes the rumors surrounding Travis and Swift are “absolutely true.”
As a 49ers fan, I hate the Kelce family. Not even personal, it is just the herd mentality instilled in me. I am a sore loser and I hate both of those teams.
With that being said, I believe there are some reasons that these guys have been talking so much recently. They started their podcast and started to get attention from the media. When the Kelce brothers got to the Super Bowl, they got even more attention because their mom got into the mix. This seems like a giant marketing scheme on the back of Taylor Swift to promote their podcast. To be fair, it’s a good idea but I will not let Taylor Swift get taken advantage of like this.
