The Jets are coming off of a heartbreaking loss against the Patriots, where they let up a punt-return touchdown with only seconds left on the clock after being stuck at a 3-3 score for almost the entire game, which is what probably lead to Zach Wilson’s demise and the Jets naming MIKE WHITE as the starter this week. The Bears also lost a close one last week, where the Falcons hit a game winning field goal with under two minutes remaining after a game that was back and forth for the entire sixty minutes. Both teams will try to bounce back from those tough losses this week in New Jersey, with New York hoping to head from 6-4 to 7-4 and Chicago trying to reach 4-8 from their current 3-8 record.
The Jets defense has been the best thing about their team this year, and it’s probably because of that defense that they’re favored by -4.5 going into this game against the Bears. Justin Fields has been really solid as of late, but it’s unlikely he’ll be able to pick apart a defense that made Josh Allen look foolish just a couple of weeks ago. Mike White is now the guy in New York, so if he can keep himself clean of turnovers, the Jets defense, led by Quinnen Williams and Sauce Gardner, should be able to hold the Bears and give New York a victory.
